What to include:

• Include theloading and unloading locations in the subject line, e.g. “Transport Rotterdam – Barcelona

Provide the key shipment details, such as:

• Postal code collection and delivery points, NL Rotterdam 3198– E Barcelona 08080
• Loading date, 9 December 2025
• Unloading date – either specific (e.g. 16 December 2025) or descriptive, such as “express,” “within a week,” or “no later than…”
• Shipment weight, e.g. 2,900 kg
• Number of pallets and dimensions, e.g. 4-euro pallets, 360 × 110 × 350 cm
• Type of transport – dedicated vehicle or part load
• Vehicle type (optional), e.g. Standard curtain-sided solo truck

If you cannot provide all the details, for example, if you are unsure about the exact weight or the number of pallets, mention it in the email, give an approximate value or contact Trasegro.

Additional information

Providing additional details can speed up the quotation process and may also affect the freight rate. These include:

• Cargo value (important for high-value transport, which may require additional security)
• Type of cargo (what kind of goods are being shipped?)
• Whether the cargo is hazardous (ADR)
• Whether customs clearance is required
• If using a refrigerated truck – specify the required temperature range
